Is My Memory Stick Compatible with other Memory Sticks?

Last Sunday my computer randomly started to act up. Took me the suggestion of another to realize that one of my memory sticks is faulty. I've tried cleaning using alcohol, an eraser, and a duster. Nothing. So I'm in the market. I was told that I could get a replacement, however i have no idea what the brand name of my stick is.

It reads "PJ" as the name. 4GB DDR3-1333MHz PC3-12800. No idea where to check for this on how to get a possible replacement, or where to research on whether this ram stick can work with any other. Should I take a chance and buy a single ram stick for duel channeling? Or should I play safe and just get a 2-Kit for $55-60? (The ones I'm looking at, the MHZ are much faster. Does that matter too much?)

Any particular brand that stands out? I heard that G2 skill (I think that's how he said it) was pretty fast. I'm pretty happy with 4gb on each stick. Would it matter a lot, if I got say, 8gb per stick? I play a lot of lengthy games on steam and I do enjoy watching multiple streams. My motherboard supports up to 32gbs.

Aight looks good. I'll buy it within the hour. Do I need to set up my bios or do you know if my mobo will automatically recognize these, like it did with my 2 older sticks?

I'll look in my BIOS and see if I can find it. Thanks again man. Toms hardware forum always comes through for me.

To update: Just got my GSkill snipers in the mail today and they look niiice. Took out the old one and put in these babies. I have yet to test them extensively but I do see a significant reduction in lag/screen loading when I'm tabbing between streams. This has been a problem all week ever since I took out the defective memory stick. For example I would be shifting through 4 streams while loading up a game of Hearthstone. Each time I tabbed there would be some kind of loading. Now I get none of that, no more slow.

To add something else I have no idea where the XMB option is in my BIOS menu. I tried to make sure it was enabled prior to putting these 2 in. Could not find it, nor the words Extreme Memory. So I just put them in and so far so good. Thanks again.
