I am building a new computer using a amd Fx-8350 cpu and a GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 mobo. I am not sure what gpu to use tho as there are so many choices. I want the best gpu i can get for $400. This is for a gaming pc. Currently im looking at an R9 290X or GTX 970 4gb

As the poster above you suggets. The MSI card is the best. It's been asked a million times before. It's always the same answer. The MSI is the best all rounder. Gigabyte is noisy but has good cooling.
