Hello. It's the first time I post here so bare with me.

I have about a 1000€ budget (roughly around 1100$ I think) and I'm trying to make a build but I don't know what components to pick due to so many opinions, bechmarks and prebuilds that I've read. The only games I play are League of Legends and Counter Strike Global Offensive (both on min settings with vsync off). There are going to be other tasks than gaming performed on it too like programming and some rendering.

I'm only sure on a couple of thing that I want but am unsure on the components.

Cpu: I'm not sure if I'd take the i5 4690k or the i7 4790k. Has to be as good as possible, I don't mind upgrading the other components in the following year or two. The 4790k is more or less a must have.

Cpu cooling: If I remember right the xpu comes with stock cooling so I guess that'll be fine right?

Gpu: I'm for nvidia so the question is how many fps I'd get out of the 960/970/980. I've heard that a lot of people say that the 960 isn't simply good enough to run csgo at at least 144 fps stable. But on the other hand I saw people stating that the Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 Gaming runs it at 200-300 fps. I've heard about the 970 thing where 0,5gb isn't running at the same speed so people say it's not worth buying something that has a mistake in it. The 980 seems pretty unaffordable for my budget. I've thought about getting the 960 and upgrading to sli if it's going to be needed.
Ram: I'm willing to buy 1x8gb and then buy another one when I have to money for it or if the moterboard supports it buying an 2x4gb kit and then some time later another one.

Monitor: Looking for a 144Hz monitor @1080p. Not well informed on the subject. If there is no option due to the budged I'd take a cheaper 60hz one and buy the 144hz later in the year to run a dual monitr setup.

Storage: I already have a Samsung 840 EVO 120gb which I'm going to use for the os and probably csgo. Heard good things about WD hdds (the black ones?). 500gb would be more than enough.

Power supply: Must be good enough to support another 960 (in the case of upgrading to sli) and a friend told me it's recommended to get a modular one or something similar.

Motherboard: Gigabyte/Asus hero/ranger were the ones I was looking at but I'm not sure if the budget would allow such. Has to feature usb 3 and have at least 4 slots for ram sticks. If possible 2 slots for gpus.

Case: As long as it looks halfway decent I don't care about it.

Other things:

OS: I've got an spare OS key but I think I'm going to be buying Win 10 if I would get the option. Can't really upgrade to it from win7/8 because I don't look intend to buy this pc within the following 2-3 months.

Mouse: I've already got a mouse - R.A.T. 7.

Keyboard: I think I have a spare one somewhere home but I'm looking for something wit mechanical switches. Doesn't need to have the keys printed: I think that the "das keyboard" looks great. But the "enter" key has to be full sized.

Headset: I have the Razer Kraken 7.1.

Sound: Not sure on this topic but I guess it doesn't really matter much as I mostly use my headset which uses usb. Don't really intend to buy speakers.

Network: No clue. Has to support wifi for easier configuring of routers within the building.

CD/DVD bay: Not needed.

I'm not sure if I missed anything. Thanks for any feedback. Btw I'm going to buy my parts probably at mylemon.at.

There are websites such as GpuBoss, SSDBoss, and Cpu boss which will help you decide the final decisions between two processors etc. But I would definitely recommend the i7 which has much faster speeds with turbo clock, a bigger l3 cache, and more threads, although being a tad more expensive.
