for 350 you wont be able to get a high end cpu on that socket I run a W3690 xeon hex-core @ 3.46ghz. you can get them for about 250 and they preform really well.

well the xeon e5-1630 could work its a decent cpu you will have a issue finding a mobo for that socket though

Workstation cards are pointless in consumer applications. These can be Adobe, Sony, etc. Gaming cards are the fastest here. Explain your workflow a little more detailed, please.

You're much better off with a gaming-card in those applications. As for CPU, you will want the fastest up to date- you will not have to spend a ton of money on the CPU or the motherboard if the primary use is for consumer applications. Depending on size of projects, your primary bottle necks are going to be RAM and drive setup/optimisation.

Is that selected answer a misclick? Yes. my mistake, I thought you ment both GPU and CPU, since you mentioned more than one GPU and more than one CPU. More cores is better, I would personally pick the i7-5820K. DDR4 RAM is quite expensive though, so my second best pick would be the i7 4790k.
