The r9 380 is optimized (not sure it's the right word) for DX12, and has more Vram and is a bit better....

XFX Core Edition is the older version of the XFX TS edition which is considered a Tier 2 power supply on toms hardware. the only down side is it does not support the power saving features of haswell chips.

also, you are suggesting change to an h97 motherboard which is already selected on both build posts.

lastly, a case is a case. it holds the parts and fits the budget. however, i do agree with corsair being crap.

Thanks but I decided on my own build and learned alot in the process this is the build tell me what you think http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/TbnXt6. Even tho its more then 1000$

PSu is crap and NEEDS to be changed. This is the single most important part of the PC. Change for Antec, XFX, Seasonic, EVGA (G2,B2,GS)

The GPU is far too weak for this build. You are losing performance by wasting money on the motherboard/RAM. you could get a WAY WAY better performing PC for the same price.

This build is terrible price/performance wise and the junk PSU is a danger to the computer.

You can change it to an r9 380 if you want, but if you want more raw performance get this, PSU and MOBO can Support a 2nd r9 290/380 in crossfire...
