Hi all! I noticed after attempting to diagnose my low FPS issues on any setting in games that my GPU usage was incredibly low, around 50% maximum and average. After trolling the forum and the rest of the internet came up with no solutions, I decided to determine if the issue was a CPU or RAM bottleneck. Low FPS by the way is 30.8 FPS on average. It never seems to go up very much.
The answer? Well kind of maybe.
I found by looking at the performance tab in task manager that CPU clock was 1.32 GHz and games were only using 56% of it at max, and my RAM was clocked at 533 MHz.
The kicker about this situation is it CAN'T be my card as I replaced it just today with a new one. My first thought was that this was a motherboard issue, but I can't be sure.
Please if you have any idea, let's figure this mess out together.
Specs:
GTX EVGA 780 Not OC replaced GTX MSI 760 4GDR5 OC/TF
MSI 970 gaming motherboard
FX-8350 CPU (Supposed to be as specified in BIOS) clocked at 4.0 GHz
Patriot Sector 5 RAM Factory clock 1066 Mhz overclocked to 1866 stable (Problem still arises UN overclocked)
CM 690 II advanced case
Thank you if you do end up replying. I appreciate it.
