i have i7 4790k LGA 1150 w/stck heatsink

my i7 4790k heatsink LGA 1150

can used LGA 1155 socket?

i want to give my stck heatsink to my friend

but my friend mobo socket is LG1155

this compatible ?

Well the posts in the topic I linked are pretty definitive, especially the one from the guy using an LGA 1155 cooler on an LGA 1150 board... And if it works one way it's guaranteed to work the other way.

Yes, 1155 and 1150 use the same heatsink mounting points so their heatsinks are compatible with each other. But it should be the same heatsink they have so why are you giving it to them?
