Approximate Purchase Date: In a month

Budget Range: $1000

System Usage: Gaming

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: No

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU and Nvidia

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1080P with a interest in 4K

Additional Comments: My goal, with this budget, is to have a gaming PC that can handle games at 60+ FPS but will be easy to upgrade in the future. Prefer a stronger/pricier CPU/Ram so I can just upgrade the video card at a later date (Would still like the video card to last me at least a year)

Thanks guys!

getting the K processor will be pointless even if it has a few extra hertz since he doesn't plan to overclock.

The 4790k runs at 4.4ghz so he would never NEED to overclock it. I don't know how you can call it "pointless"

Plus, he said he preferred a stronger(pricier) cpu

My build is also SLI ready. I know he selected "no" to SLI but may be happy it's an option in the future. Especially if interested in 4k gaming. SLI is almost a must.
