Temperature of Intel Core i7-4770 Processor 3.40 GHz

I have Core i7-4770 Processor 3.40 GHz and normally its temperature stays around 35-40 C -- but whenever i play a game like BF4 -- its temperature reaches to 60 - 70 C. Is this Temperature safe?

Yes for you CPU ruining below 90C on core is ok :)
Install core temp:
http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
an in program you will see Tj max until temps are no close to this value you are safe.
