Motherboard Post Problems, and Something about a Beeper...

Okay, i cant get my motherboard to post (im pressing tab, or enter, or the function keys), but im asked for boot medium, does that mean it works? At the same time, however, i dont hear any sounds when its booting. Do you guys perhaps know if the case Corsair SPEC-01 Red has a case speaker? Or if the motherboard gigabyte 990fx motherboard has a speaker?

My complete build is:
Fx 8370e
gigabyte 990fxa motherboard rev 1.1
Corsair Spec 01 Red
HyperX 8GB Ram
Corsair CX550M
Lite On ssd 256gb
msi r9 280x twin frozr

Since it's not finding a bootable device, it's asking you where it should boot from. If this is a new build and you have not installed an operating system yet, insert the DVD/USB device with your OS image and select that device to boot from.
