I am looking to do my first gaming PC build over the next few weeks, I'm looking at getting the GTX 980 Ti but I'm not sure what the best brand(s) are. I'm currently looking at EVGA, MSI and Gigabyte. Also I've noticed that EVGA has two different designs, one with a blower cooler and on with an ACX cooler. Is the ACX cooler better?

Also, on the UK Newegg store, the prices for the 980 Ti are about £100 cheaper than other sites. I've always known Newegg to be very reliable, but I was just wondering why they are so cheap there?

Thanks in advance!

The only other difference is cooling exhaust. On the reference cooler, virtually all exhaust is ported out of the case directly, whereas the aftermarket coolers keep much of their exhaust within the case, which will further tax your case cooling fans. If you have a good, positive pressure case fan setup, this shouldn't be an issue. I personally preferred the reference cooler, because I decided on a small form factor case, which does not have the circulation of a bigger case.

***I have to add a caveat: My opinion is based on my experience in the USA. I would expect Newegg to still be top notch in the UK, but there you go.
