Question About Antec Eleven Hundred V2 Case

Solution
Hello,

The case can support 4 GPUs, the only limiting factor is the motherboard. Maybe at the time of Antec 1100 release, a quad-SLI capable PSU was too big (long) to fit in, that's why they are limiting just to 3-way SLI; 3-way GTX480/580 could easily consume 1000W, so a 4-way SLI will break the 1200W mark, and such PSUs were (some still are) over 200mm long.

It probably doesn't say quad because normal air cooler width would make the last card not fit. If you're watercooling with single-slot waterblocks, then I would contact Antec and tell them what you're doing to see if it'll fit.

So if I'm using EVGA 220-T2-1600-X1 1600W 80 PLUS Titanium, which is exactly 200mm long, then it will be fine and the case will support 4 dual-slot GPUs?

Considering it supports up to 330mm GPU's and the drive bays are all the same along the case, I would say you'd have an extra 130mm to cable manage with. That's just a guess though, as there is no listed maximum power supply length.

This specific PSU has the fan mounted towards the back, so at least 1/3 of the airflow will be obstructed by the case; of course, you can mount it with the fan upwards (drawing hot air from inside the case), but it's not a recommended setup. Of course, if you will add fans to the side panel or not use the side panel at all, it will be fine.

Some of the fan being blocked shouldn't be as bad as making intake hot air though. Assuming the case lifts the PSU off the bottom slightly then there will be enough space for the fan to pull air through.

I've planned on filling all of the fan slots with 8 Delta AFB1212HHE-F00 120mm 120.07 CFM, and in addition I'll be liquid cooling the CPU and all 4 GPUs and 8 x 4GB sticks of DDR4 RAM. Yes I know it's overkill, but that's what I'm going for.
So, I'm guessing that the PSU will be fine with drawing cool air into the case? and there shouldn't be any problems with using all 9 expansion slots to hold 4 GPUs and a sound card in the middle?

Just a small nitpick, but depending on your motherboard, it might be faster to use a dual channel kit if it doesn't support quad channel. Everything else seems fine, but you will have a hard time with the setup. Most likely you won't know until you try. Also, are you going single or dual pump, as that sounds like a lot of restriction for a single pump.

As for the power supply, it might need some extra support because of the length. If it sags on installation, then go get a cheap piece of foam and some dual sided tape to stick under it.

Hope to see pics!

dual pump, and I figured that it would be difficult, I'm just trying to get the smallest case I can with high air flow and liquid cooling that will support my hardware.

Oh well, you'll have your personal hurricane with these fans, they will be unbearable loud...

If you are seriously going for liquid cooling, if you haven't bought already the Antec 1100 and if you have the necessary space, I recommend another case: Corsair Obsidian 900D, NZXT Phantom 820 or Cooler Master Cosmos; they can accomodate multiple radiators and have plenty of space for reservoirs and pumps.

Thing is, he said he wants all that power in a mid tower

HAF X is a decent choice also, nothing wrong with it (just less space for radiators). I prefer cases with a clean look, HAF X looks a little too menacing :)
