With arkham knight coming soon, i wanted to make sure i can enjoy the game on full potential including physx. I have a r9 290, now i know it cant process physx but i heard if i install nvidia card and make it dedicated to physx i can somehow make it possible to run physx?

i want to know how exactly is it done or if its even possible anymore. since all the articles i find about this topic are way outdated.

Thanks in advance

Quote from the second article:

"Important note.
Hybrid PhysX is not officially supported by NVIDIA and AMD. Use it for your own risk."

So basically you will rely to third-party software, with no means to guarantee proper behaviour in all games / software.

It's unfortunate, but that's one of the first things I encourage people to consider when making their video card purchase. Is there a chance that you might at all be interested in playing a PhysX game? If so, then rule out AMD cards from your list.

Unless you are highly competent with driver hacks and are willing to put up with headaches all the same, basically consider it impossible. If you are still interested, and want to do some independent research, focus your Google searches on "hybrid PhysX".
