Hi guys my name is Connor and im 13.

My friend wants to play pc with me and he needs a PC build. Its needs to be about £350 maybe with a operating system. Ive upgraded loads of parts in my pc and watched tons of videos on how to build and upgrade and im pretty confident. Im going to be helping him build it or build it for him. We will be playing games like GTA V, CSGO, Garrys Mod and COD (maybe battlefield)

Basically I need a PC build with 8GB DDR3 1600mhz (cheapest price please)
260x (because its cheap)
Quad core prefferably not expensive like a x4 750K or something.

Thanks,
Connor

Solution
There's a website called https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/ that will help you out a lot.

That being said, £350 including the operating system is a really really hard thing to do... especially if it's including the monitor and peripherals.

He might be better off buying a used gaming computer locally, or going for a system based on an AMD APU, because they're cheap and don't require a graphics card for relatively light gaming like that. (It might have issues with GTA, but that depends on resolution and settings.)

EDIT: Got the URL wrong, sorry - the uk comes first.

If you can use Linux or beg an operating system from somewhere else, you could get a much stronger video card.

Solution
Impossible with os & a discrete GPU

the 500b is a pretty decent psu imo, good voltage regulation ,low ripple,3 year warranty - on a build thats unlikely to pull 300w its a compromise that has to be made on a budget

the 430w I wouldnt use normally, another tenner nets you the 500b anyway - it was just an example to stay in budget with an os - its still a better model than any generic brand & on a build thats unlikely to pull over 150w not really a problem.
