Windows 7 Freezing After Startup

Hi,
First of all, I'm not really an expert on this field, so I'll try to describe my problem the best I can.

---

This has been happening for about a month or so. First, the Task Bar crashing, with the Busy icon spinning forever, no notification of errors, but at least you could still move the cursor over the bar, and after a reboot it was all fine. Also, if I was on my navigator, I could still use it if I disabled Windows Explorer via Task Manager.

A few weeks later, same issue, but now the Task Bar freezes completely, you can't move the cursor over that zone. And if I had programs opened, none of them responded either. I needed to reboot 3 or 4 times to make it work properly. But at the moment I'm navigating using Safe Mode, since it's the only way it doesn't crash again.

This freezing occurs always at a very specific time. It goes like this: I start the pc, all programs load normally. I can even open the navigator or Explorer and do normal stuff but suddenly after about 3 or 5 minutes it freezes again.

---

I guess it could be some program trying to open or work in background at startup that is causing this issue? I tried disabling everything I could: programs and scheduled events, updating Windows, uninstalling recent programs, but with no luck. And at this point I can't do much without Safe Mode, and currently looking at Event Viewer checking for errors. Any help would be appreciated.

Hope this helps:

Also, I just rebooted again and checked Event Manager. It displays the following errors.

- Event ID 7026, the following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load (Origin: Service Control Manager)
AsIO

- DCOM got error "1084" attempting to start the service EventSystem with arguments "" in order to run the server (Origin: DistributedCOM)

Followed by a repeating chain of this message:

- Event ID 7001, the Computer Browser service depends on the Server service which failed to start because of the following error: The dependency service or group failed to start (Origin: Service Control Manager)

Does it BSOD? If so, the dump file can be checked to see what caused it. I am unable to check dump files at the moment, however, you may be able to.

If not, this sounds like it's hanging and about to BSOD. Try leaving it on when it freezes, and go out to eat or something. When you come back, if it's still frozen, then you may just have a temp issue.

Try and download some pc monitoring software (MSI Afterburner works well) and look at the temps. If they're very high, it could be a cooling issue, as unrelated as it sounds.
