3-way SLI is a really bad idea BTW.
Even NVidia's Tom Peterson doesn't recommend more than 2-way due to the added latency, support issues and scalability.

(The above link doesn't dive into the stutter and other issues really, it's mainly aimed at frame rates which as most people should know is NOT the whole picture.)
*It's also worth noting that you could get two EVGA 980Ti Hybrid cards which use a 12cm rad setup each. They'll run close to 1500MHz and will sit about 50deg to 55degC at max load. I'd get two of those for high-end gaming.
