is there anyway to hook up fiber optic through ethernet to an adsl modem that has 4 lan ports

I have fiber optic internet which is used through a Ethernet cable is there anyway to connect it to an adsl modem in one of the lan ports?

If your adsl modem has 4 ports it is probably a ROUTER. A standard modem can not connect more than ONE computer as it has no way to "route" the connections. So if you have an adsl modem with four ports those ports will have local addresses. With local addressing you can share files etc as that builds a local network.
