What's a safe temp to keep my CPU/GPU at?

Hey there, I recently purchased some games on Steam and noticed that while running then my GPU/CPU fans were getting louder time by time while running games, and I want those to last me for at least 4-5 years if not more, so I need to know what is the safe temp to keep them under so it will not decrease the efficiency of my hardware time by time. And also, if you could suggest a safe software that can tell me the temp/fan speed of my CPU/GPU.
I would appreciate your help.

GPU - AMD Radeon R9 280 DUAL-X 3G-5 Sapphire

CPU - Intel Core i7 4790k 4.0GHz HYPER TX3 EVO COOLERMASTER

Admirable
Safe ceiling for a 280x is 82C for extended periods. Anything over that is not good for it and most probably will degrade the life of the card.

For your 4790K I would not like to see it over 73C for extended periods of time.

It only shows the rig of the computer, didn't find anything about temperatures.

Ah I see, but I am confused, there are cores and all that stuff, where can I check my overall temp of GPU and CPU? Not the temp of each core.
