Is this a good match for my Asus Z97 Pro ac WiFi and Intel i5 4690k?

I haven't bought a computer for 12 years so have been catching up a lot. Must admit I am knackered (I have MS). Is Asus AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB a good natch for above mb and cpu?

I can get this graphic card for £80 using a loyalty voucher which is a good £40 cheaper than the next cheapest place.

Thanks

Get the R9 270X for extra 20 pounds...

I'm a casual gamer. I don't count fps (I'm sometimes nearly blind) but I'd like decent game playing. I'm more interested in video, CAD.... but I want a system that isn't let down anywhere...

Does this card make sense with my board and CPU? Or is it old hat? It's just for £80 with voucher I don't see anything close to offering me same value.

There's the temptation to keep going bigger and better... I just got the Z97 Pro board half price and I paid the same for a 4690k as a 4690...

Is the R9 270 not good enough for the above? There's an Asus R9 270x 2GB TOP for £20 more. Not sure how the TOP version is different to the Asus R9 270x 2GB though...

????

Why can't I make decisions.. I just wanted to build a good solid multi-tasking: cad/drupal/photo editing/loads of windows open.. sometimes old and new gaming, video playing, audio playing through DAC... machine.

Get the R9 270X for extra 20 pounds and make your build a complete decent 1080p rig along with i5 4690K + Z97 Pro MB. That extra 20 pound is worth spending.

Update:

Get the ASUS R9 270X TOP version.

Cheers!
