Just what the title says. Would a i3 4150 @3.5ghz 'bottleneck' the gtx 970? If it helps I play at 1080p and play many different games but I do play a lot of Battlefield 4. Thanks!

Oh, and here are my pc specs

Solution
At 1080p on BF4 your CPU shouldn't bottleneck the GTX 970. The GTX 970 will play AAA games at 1080p on Ultra for the next 2-3 years. If you feel the CPU is getting old, you can upgrade that later and still have a great card in your system for several years.

I'd go for it and get the card!

Couldn't be happier! I swear by this card as the BEST for cost-to-performance. On 1080p it will slaughter any game you throw at it with ultra settings with 70+ FPS. SLI 970's perform better than the GTX 980 and for the same price, so if I ever want to get to 4K gaming or want to upgrade my GPU power, just get another one for SLI in a year or so when the price drops.

The Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 is a solid card and I recommend it to anyone!
