New gpu installed asus drivers, screen has underscan doesnt fit anymore

I installed my new r9 290x asus matrix rog. Display isnt correct, wont fill screen. Cant find many settings to change anything. Have installed ati catalyst and used the over scan feature. Everything seems great now, will this create a conflict? Should I remove asus gpu tweak? Feeling kind of stupid here.

No mate you've done exactly the right thing by using catalyst scaling.
It nearly always needs to be done if using HDMI or dvi cables.

Thanks so I shouldnt have any problems from using the asus install cd then downloading ati catalyst and using that?

No mate the Asus software & catalyst can co exist absolutely fine together.

In all honesty though 99.999% of people just use afterburner for everything GPU related.
Its a consumate all in one bit of software.
