Will my PC be compatible with a ASUS STRIX GTX970?

I've had this PC for a year and decided it was time to get an upgrade. I've been eyeballing an Asus Strix GTX970, but don't know if my PC can handle it.

Specs (let me know if you need more info):

OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8300 Eight-Core Processor.
Installed RAM: 20.0 GB.
Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M51BC (Socket 942)
Graphics Card: 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD7700 Series.

What PSU do you have?
It is compatible. The MSI GTX 970 is also very nice some places its even cheaper by a little.
But which 970 you get is up to you i like the MSI or Gigabyte but they all so simlair.
What is your complete system and how much money do you have for upgrading might be able to help with other improvments
