Okay so i have 1 Tb portable hard drive, on startup if it is plugged in i get one long beep. Everything starts up perfectly but the noise is just irritating as i have it plugged in most of the time. i am 100% sure it is only the HDD causing the beep i have run every test possible to make sure everything else is okay. So just looking for any suggestions as to why the hard drive may cause this
