I am planning on buying Kingston SSDnow SV300S37A 240GB because its the cheapest option in my retail store, I read some reviews and article about its downgrade from the original release and is now starting to worry me, will it be THAT slow compared to the slight more expensive SSDs.

I dont need 100gb/s write read speed but I need to know if it truimphs conventional HDDs and is long lasting enough to warrant a $120 purchase (australia price)

If this was a bad choice please suggest the ones on this list, they are instock at the same store in the $135~ price range:
Crucial BX100 250GB SSD
Kingston 240G HyperX Fury SSD SATA 3 7mm
OCZ ARC 100 240GB SSD
Transcend 256GB SATA III SSD

Thank you in advance

Any SSD with a Sandforce controller is going to be less reliable than modern Intel, Samsung(except with TLC), Crucial, Phison, etc...
It will work well under highly compressible workloads, but otherwise it will be slower and less reliable than Samsung, Crucial, Intel.
Kingston and Transcend have the same crap sandforce controller, so the Crucial or OCZ drive will be fine.
