Im using a Gateway DX4860 right now with a 300W PSU and a Geforce GT 520 1GB adn i want to upgrade to a GTX 750 TI 2GB (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121902&cm_re=750_ti-_-14-121-902-_-Product)
and i wanted to also upgrade my 300W PSU to a 430W PSU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=)
Would this be fine or would i have to do anything extra

You could, but pretty much everyone else on this forum knows that the CX series of PSU's from corsair are bad quality. I would get on the high rebate end http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371045&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= It's from antec and it has the correct connector. But really if you have the money, I really really would recommend spending like $30-40 to get away from the gateway case. I would spend like $30 more to get http://pcpartpicker.com/part/bitfenix-case-bfcneo100kkxskrp I just built 2 systems in it for a couple of kids who's parents bought them some new computers through my business, but very easy to build in and very good airflow...

you can run a 750ti on a 250w power supply, but the card you linked is a 2 fan version. All of the 2 fan versions of the 750 ti require a 6pin pci-e connector, which looking at the inside of your computer in an image I found of it, it seems to lack the required cable. I can't honestly tell thought if your computer has any proprietary connectors, like I've seen a lot of the over produced ones using this kind of tacky looking small motherboard connector which if you upgraded your power supply would cause you not to have the correct connector. If that is the case though I would recommend looking around for a single fan gtx 750 ti, or I would maybe just get a case and power supply since you are already looking to add components. Just what I would start doing so maybe someday down the road you can have a almost completely custom built system. This is just because looking at your motherboard I'm pretty sure it's micro ATX, which if you bought say a $20-40 case it would fit.

so since i lack the required cable for the 6-pin PCI-E connector if i upgrade to a PSU with that connector cable would i be able to use that beucase i was planning on switching out the currect poswer supply with the Crosshair 430W one so if i did that would if be fine to to use the 2 fan 750 Ti?
