I tried swapping my HDD on my HP Envy Dv6 for a Sandisk SSDnow 240GB drive. I cloned the drive but it failed to boot. It also seems to have not worked properly because the HDD no longer boots correctly either. At this point the SSD was recognized by BIOS and passed the hard disk test by the HP System tools.
I then formatted the SSD as the clone didn't work, and no BIOS doesn't read the drive.
As there is no operating system on my computer, I don't know what to do, as this is the only drive I have that currently functions. Any ideas?
