I ran the Passmark performance test to see how well my system compares to others and I was greeted with a lovely display issue while running a test full screen with elision set at 0.05. This does not occur in Windowed mode, only in full screen. The card runs all my games perfectly (MW3, BF2, FSX, and Dirt 3) with no artifacts or tearing. I have had a problem with flickering on dark backrounds but I switched to hdmi to dvi and it has been fine.

Any help is really appreciated and I thank you in advance. Here is the link to what happens.

I have a 450w psu by antec, so not the greatest. But I have 2 modems, 2 wifi routers a monitor and my computer connected to the same surge suppressor and I have noticed my light dims when I put my pc under load, again, the light is connected to the same power strip. I am going to try and move my pc to another outlet. I have a AMD A8 3870K cpu non oc'ed, a MSI a55m-p33 mb, a Seagate 1 tb drive (brand new).

I'm pretty convinced that there is a problem with the outlets in that one room because my load temps are much much cooler with the same ambient temp in another room which uses another breaker. My load temps are less than 55 now.

I actually moved the comp back on that room but plugged it into a different surge suppressor into a different outlet...got to be that circuit breaker. One more question...could under powering a card cause it to run hotter, and do you think my card is damaged?

I can test that card in another pc because it requires a 450 w psu and my old dell xps only has a 375 w ...that artifact only happens in full screen in that program and nowhere else, I really can't send my card into asus and wait several weeks for a new one so I think I am going to want a few months for when I can upgrade to a 800w and a R9 fury x card. Thank you so much for your help.

I went and bought the cheapest card I could find, a nvidia gt610 just to use as a replacement when I send the other card for replacement, I have no artifacts and I am actually impressed by the performance of that card...I guess it's just a tad better than the apu graphics.
