Hello, would really like help on which video card and hard drive is best for my old 2009 pc.
I have i7-920 2.66ghz overclocked to 3.2ghz, kingston Hyper ddr3/1600 6gb, coolermaster v8 cpu fan, EVGA x58 3x SLI intel x58 motherboard, Thermaltake tough power 1200 watts and an old EVGA geforce gtx 295. Currently running on windows vista.
Use this for gaming awhile back but been using my mac for 2 years. I'm wondering if i can still salvage this setup with just a little bit of upgrade on video card for an average gaming.
Was planing on buying WD Blue 1TB Desktop 3.5 Inch SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm for my hard drive since my old one died on me. Is this a good one? Keep in mind i have no real experience on building PC so i would like to just change my video card and hard drive. With maybe 200-300 budget.
