Hi, I just bought a lenovo m93p sff with i7-4770, 12 gb ram (4+8), hd4600. I want to upgrade the graphics card. I did some research and found R7 250 could work in m93p sff. But I still wonder if I could install a GTX750 to this sff desktop? I also check the detailed specs of my computer, the PCI Express 3.0 x16 can provide 40w max, the psu is 240w. Although GTX750 is low power consuming, I don't know whether I can use it in my case.

Thanks.

I notice that the GTX750 do have low profile version. But power consumption of this card is 60w, higher than 40w the main board can provide. Is that a big issue? Thanks

Solution
^ you could run it with the power supply outside of the case... I did that for a year once...
even a 750 will be very tight as I said, no OC for you. I really would consider a new PSU whether or not it fits inside.

thanks for your suggestion, but it's really hard to find a fit PSU for the Lenovo SFF model. That's why I have to choose low power consuming graphic card

Hello, I just put a Gigabyte GTX 750 low profile graphics card in a M93p SFF and all went fine. Did a stress test and no problem at all with a maximum 65 degrees Celsius. The Furmark 720 preset test revealed 2304 points, an excellent result for this card.
The only problem I encountered was that I had to remove the first upper bolt from the small factor bracket, in order to mount the graphic card as the DVI port is very high. I put that bolt AFTER mounting the graphic card in the case.

hello good day..

can i ask, what kind of mother board you have in lenovo m93p sff ?

i have that kind of cpu.. LENOVO thinkcentre M93P sff
i5 4570 3.2ghz 8gb ram 500gb hdd intel hd4600
im planning to put a good graphics card where i can play newer games.

but the main issue is upon searching and reading i noticed that the motherboard i use has 40w max limit only to PCIE slot
is that a big issue for me to install a graphics card with 60w TDP like gtx750 ti ? Im affraid that it will fry my motherboard due to insufficient power provided by my mother board.. thank you
