I just built a new x99 computer yesterday, my first ever build. Everything seemed fine, h110i gt idle temps around 30c. It seemed fine overnight. I restarted today, and kept getting CPU fan errors and shutoffs after a few seconds. Then a cpu over temp error. I managed to load into the UEFI bios once, and the CPU temps read 93c. No idea why the sudden change on a restart like that.

Fans on the radiator run full blast, and the corsair lights on the pump light up. Not sure if the light vibrations on the tubes are due to the water moving or vibrations transferred from fans.

Afraid to turn it on, any idea what might be wrong? Thermal paste came preapplied and I dont have more atm, but again it only started acting up after shutting down and turning on again.

specs: asus x99-a, corsair rm 850 psu, gigabyte g1 gaming 970, 5930k not overclocked, 32GB ddr4 gskill 2666mhz, corsair
h110i gt

update: got into bios again, cpu starts at about 60c and continually goes up; fan speed lists N/A under CPU fan
