I don't know how the gold will look in an all blue build.

Should I trust ASrock? some people say it's a better company now but others say that the MB dies after a month.

i've only ever had one problem with an asrock board, and it was due to my fault in not planning cable management out. I usually go between them and asus for primary, then gigabyte (had several doa boards from gig).

Almost all of the reviews say that the asrock boards later die out after 2 or 3 months of use. Is your Extreme4 still going strong?

The problem with ASRock is that their quantity control sucks. There's nothing wrong with their motherboards as long as you are lucky enough and get your hands on a "good" one. Other than that, I have to say that I recently build a new gaming rig too, and I was trying to decide between the Extreme 4 that they mentioned above and the z97-A. I decided to go for the z97-A and I haven't regretted it one bit. But as I said above, you just need to be lucky enough and get a good ASRock board.

You can check out this Asus:

It's pretty much all white and a good board.

I've never owned an ASrock board, but my friend swears by them.

I have two friends that built systems with Extreme4 boards in September 2014 and they have had zero problems. I built one at the same time and have loved it as well. However, my first board had a bad PCIe x16 slot. A few months ago the little woman tripped a breaker and went a head and reset it. I wasn't home and it ended up frying my mobo. This third one is going strong atm though my water cooler pump failed shortly after I got my new board to I haven't been able to put my OC back on.
