Hi toms HW, i have had my current PC a long while and its starting to all come apart, my most recent encounter is windows not booting, this has been happening for a couple of weeks and i press my PC power button, and everything turns on, but the windows logo is just staying there doing nothing forever, I've tested and it will stay the same for about 8 hours straight, it isn't frozen because there are moving particles on the log and "starting windows". The only way i can currently prevent this is by pressing F8 and repairing my computer, restoring it to a certain point and carrying on, its a very annoying process to be doing EVERY time i want to go on my PC (it is very temperamental as well) Is one of my components dead? (Bearing in mind that whenever it does decide to boot it is fine running windows and games etc.) is my windows corrupt?
Any help i can get will be massively appreciated due to sheer stress of the past couple of weeks!
