what gpu to buy around 350 bucks

Im getting rid of my R9 280x cause it is basically dying somehow and the support team at XFX were no help soo im looking for a new gpu for 360 or less
I know the GTX 970 is the way to go but do you think i should wait for the r9 380 or so to come out? And buy that or just buy the 970 now

From what I have seen the 380 offers nothing significant over it's predecessor. I was expecting the 970s to drop in price but it seems many of the more popular models have gone up.

That's disappointing to hear about XFX. Normally they are very good with upholding their lifetime warranty. The GTX 970 is your best buy. What's wrong with the card?

I liked the GTX 970, which I owned very recently. I could play games like Witcher 3 in 1080p ultra settings @ 60 Hz, with no lag. I doubt that Nvidia will lower the prices because then 2 x 970 SLI would undercut the price of a single 980 Ti. Think I'm delusional? Look at reviews of what 970s in SLI can do.

Go for the 970. You'll enjoy it. I have minimal knowledge of AMD offerings, so I can't offer any advice on the 380.

Everytime i play game not all games but some my monitor will go black and say no input and than i have to turn off my pc completely and turn it back on to work again. Ive spent 30 bucks on shipping (shipped it twice to them) and they did nothing to fix it, Except when i got the the card back the first time it didn't have a problem than bout 2 weeks later the problem happened again
