I'm back to pc after 5 years on mac.
I'm building a x99, 5820k pc for home studio and gaming.
I've selected most of my part but I'm really not sure about the mobo....
So many choices, and asus are pricier but on these boards the concensus seems to be that
the asus are better then msi, gigabyte, asrock etc....
I'm mainly looking for stability and easy overclocking of my 5820k.
I would also like usb 3.1. I don't think that I'm gonna crossfire or sli since my monitor is 1440p.
What would you recomend at this price point!? (400$)
PC Build:
CPU: 5829k
Mobo: ??
Memory: 16gb G skills ripjaws 4 (good choice?)
Video: MSI GeForce 970
Case: Define R5
CPU cooler: H100i (with 2 noctua fan)
PSU: EVGA 750W 80 plus gold
SSD:2X Samsung 850 pro 512 gb (already got these)
HD's: Few hd's from my mac...
