Sorry if this is not in a proper section of the forum.

So I recently bought a Macbook Air for schoolwork and stuff. Sometimes it gets pretty hot though, and I want to make sure it can ventilate. Where is the ventilation pointed? Cause I don't want to be covering it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
Intake and exhaust happens near the hinges.

And if I'm not mistaken a lot of cooling on the MBA occurs via conduction through the aluminum chassis so it heating up shouldn't be a big deal.

Seems strange that you own one but are asking other people. You should be able to work out where the air is going in and out. Wet your finger and put it near the vents.
