Hi, so I recently put together a new build (http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/bzMKVn) that I want to use for video editing/rendering, photoshop, and of course gaming. I originally had the build with only 16GB of ram, and a GTX 970 in SLI.

Now I decided to add another SSD, and increase the ram to 32GB (As I read somewhere that for video rendering it would be better to have more ram and hard drive speed over a gpu) but I was wondering if it would be better to go with a 4x8GB or 8x4GB, or even 2x16GB would be better/faster?
I look at G.Skill RAM often (Although I do like Corsair as well)

I am currently looking at:

- 4x8GB CL15 DDR4 2400Mhz
- 4x8GB CL15 DDR4 2600Mhz (+$20)
- 4x4GB CL15 DDR4 2400Mhz x2

Programs I will be using: Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Premiere CC, Photoshop CC, Sony Vegas Pro, FL Studio, and Traktor.

Solution
To OP - use the 4x8GB setup so you can benefit from the quad channel configuration of your motherboard.
You will also have room to add more 4x8GB in the future.

I used the "Ask a question" on the side, and in previous posts it let me select where to post, but as I have not posted here in a while I did not know that it posted to the forums i was browsing. Sorry about that

Thanks! And for the RAM i would choose would the Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB be better (http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cmk32gx4m4a2400c14) or G.Skill Ripjaws 32GB? (http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f42400c15q32grr)
The G.Skill is about $10 cheaper but has a CL of 15, while the Corsair is about $10 more with a CL of 14

I would buy the faster RAM with the CL of 14, $10 is not THAT much expensive...
