My cpu onlu overclocking to 3.5 from 3.3 PLZ HELP!!

Hi!Recently i bought a new gaming pc.I have intel core i5 4590.I know that its non-k.I read on the internet that you can overclocked him from 3.3 to 3.7mhz and i done it!When opened prime95 and cpu-Z i saw that the core speed is only to 3.5 but in bios i changed to 3.7!PLZ tell me why i can not overclock my cpu to 3.7?!!!!

Fisrt thanks you for your answer!My motherboard is a gigabyte h97m-hd3.I KNOW it is not z97 chipset for overclocking but i read on the internet that you can overclock the cpu.My power suply its an 80 plus bronze (may gold) 550w xfx.This cpu can overclock to 3.7.I can overclock it to 3.7 but when i open cpu-Z, i can see that is only 3.5(3.49.......) (full load).

In non-k intel cpu you can overclock it only 0.4 mhz.I cant it is an option from 3.3 to 3.7 i put the 3.7mhz option.Whe i open
cpu-Z in full load cpu it is in 3.5mhz what can i do ???

Yes the bios update it is not my problem!I have check this site again and my motherboard is in the list.(Gigabyte GA-H97M-HD3)The cpu i have can be overclocked from 3.3 to 3.7mgz becauze it is not-k.I have a problem:In bios settings i can overclock it to 3.7mgz but in windows when i run cpu-Z in full load cpu its only at 3.499....mgz (3.5mgz).{sorry for i am a not so good at English!}
