Where do I put rear exhaust fan after applying a liquid cooler in that are.

Hi, I am getting a Liqtech 120x to put where my rear exhaust on my case is. My question is, where do you put the rear exhaust fan that you took off? Do you just keep it? Do you have to install somewhere else? I don't know.

  1. You probably don't need it since the cooler's fan will perform the same function. You could mount it as an exhaust fan at top (if it's possible and it isn't too close to the cooler) or as an extra intake fan at the front or at the bottom of the case.

Ok thanks. I think I won't use it.
  3. It depends on your case and on the CPU you'll be cooling with that entry-level liquid cooler.

Since it comes with a single 200mm front fan and a 140mm rear fan, I'd mount the rear fan at top.
