Should I Upgrade My Graphics Card From a AMD XFX 270X to a AMD PowerColor 380 or Greater?

Hello! Due to the recent release of the AMD 300 series of graphics cards I am contemplating weather to upgrade my AMD XFX 270X Graphics Card to a AMD PowerColor 380. Will I see a great difference in performance or should I try to get a 390? I don't know. Please help me understand the landscape of the 300 series, Thanks!

At this point, what you are going to want to do is go for a Nvidia 970, the 300 series is sadly not as impressive as enthusiasts hoped it would be, it tends to be re-brands of the 200 series with some slight fixes. In other words, if you want a GPU that can handle all games on 1080p at 60+ fps, go with the 970.

the 3xx that just came out are only the for-runner Amd plans on bring out a so called "fury" card and the 3xx's will then fall into a lower category and prolly be cheaper

289$ is my best guess, nvidea will not drop much but they will a little, the rxxx'x will move into a 960 price range and below,and the fury's will sell for 549$ along with what ever nvidea decides to sell as top card at that moment (prolly the titian 12 gb card) i have no clue what nvidea is planning on bringing out later or when so it hard but they hold their prices pretty stable.. even when they bring new models out.

270X to 380 is not a big jump.
The 390 will be better.
Considering the problems with the R9 series, I would opt for GTX970.

You generally get what you pay for.
A GTX770 is a fine card, but it is a generation behind and a bit slower than a GTX970.

The 970 is to expensive for me so I can afford a 780 or a 770. ill obviously save more money If i get the 770 but do you think ill see a big difference in performance from the 780?

If you can buy a GTX780, go for it.
Performance is comparable to GTX970.
It will run anything on 1080P well.
GTX780 even runs 1440p well enough.
