Hello guys, I am in the market for a new graphics card.
I am considering buying this one: http://www.pricefrontier.com/product/US/B00O4S9NY8
As an alternative I am considering this GTX 970: http://www.pricefrontier.com/product/US/B00NH5T1UA
First of all, is the performance difference as big as the price difference?
Right now I have a GTX 660, an i7 4770K CPU and 16GB RAM. My current GPU it not good enough to play games at my new 4K monitor (Samsung U28D590D).
To be able to play games at my 4K monitor at a decent framerate I need to buy 2 of those cards. Benchmarks show a difference (that's to be expected) but it's not huge.
What do you recommended, should I buy 2 x 970 and in a few years upgrade or buy now 2 x 980?
Also which manufacturer is "better", Asus or Gigabyte?
Finally, if I wait a month, is there a chance the price will fall even more?
Thanks for your time.
