Hi all!

I am in possession of a macbook pro 15 Inch late 2012 i7 model with superdrive running OSX yosemite 10.10.3. And I am having the problem of a slow sleeping macbook when I close the lid. It differs of course, some times 5 seconds, some times 10 seconds. But the idea of me waiting before its sleeping (you know, when the lid-light is flashing) is just not what I'm used to (when I had a macbook some years ago).

I have been trying alot, like disabling hibernation and such. Nog nothing really worked. I hope any of you have a solution? Here are my logs:

PS. I'm also running windows in bootcamp. And when I close the lid in windows, it kinda sleeps instantly.

Solution
Reset your SMC and PRAM. Plug in your laptop to the wall, close all applications/save your data, then hold down Command+Option+Shift and the power button. The screen should turn off instantly. Then, wait 10 seconds. Next, while it is off, hold Command+Option+P+R then press the power button. Keep holding those buttons until you hear the chime, the screen lights up, then turns off again. You can let up and it will restart. See if that solves your issue.

In addition to what was mentioned above, I suggest updating to OS X Yosemite 10.10.4. Discoveryd(one of the processes hanging you up) was replaced due to reliability problems with it.
