Hey guys, i'll be buying a SSD now, i've built my Gaming PC without one and i'm not satisfied with the Speed that i've got from it and i think it's time to upgrade my main Storage Drive.

Well, for what i've been reading, the SSD will make a huge difference of Speed of open programs, copying programs, installing and using the computer in general. Well, i don't wanna spent much money on this SSD.

I've saw the Samsung 850 EVO 120GB and seems to be on a great price, and there's the 250GB option that out a bit of my budget, but have something interesting for we to be discussing about.

Well, i've saw that the 850 EVO 120GB have the same Read Speed of the 250GB version in some benchmarks, but, the Write speed of the 250GB it's 2x more.

My question is, how can, it affect my normal usage on the PC, since that i'll be installing only OS/Drivers/Adobe Programs on the SSD, should i get the 250GB Version?

Thanks.

250GB is the current sweet spot for price vs size.
The 850 EVO is the current bet consumer grade drive.
A 120GB will work no problem, if you are diligent about what goes on it.
Speed differences (between the 120 and the 250GB) are completely unnoticeable in normal use.

Get the 250GB Samsung.

When you start looking for a drive, focus on size more than speed. The difference from Normal drive to SSD drive is so incredible it really won't matter what the rated speed of the SSD drive is. So just to keep your costs down a little lower keep that in mind.
