Having an issue with my computer cycling randomly and for different periods of time

I built my PC in February of 2014. Around March 2015 my PC started to power cycle. It would shut down, boot up and then might even completely load up and be fine for a few minutes just for it to repeat itself. It will even go days without having an issue and at other times cycle 20 times in minutes. In Bios the CPU and MB temps are 30 Celsius and 31 Celsius respectively. The only detail I notice is the CPU Core 1 voltage will switch between 1.056 and 1.040 while the other cores hold at 1.056. I have read online that stress testing the RAM/Memory is the way to go or it is possible the issue might have to do with the power supply.

The parts I used to build the PC

Any thoughts as the best way to approach the problem and have a simple resolution?

Thanks

I thought you knew how to do it :p okay instead just take both memory modules out, take 1, put it in the first slot (or second) whichever your motherboard says the first stick of ram is supposed to be in. Then start it up. If it is unstable still, take the other module and repeat these steps. Just to be clear, you will never be using both modules at the same time when Doug this. This tests the individual memory sticks.

OK. If I understand correctly your saying test one stick of RAM at a time and see if I have a cycling issue. Are you wanting me to use Memtest?

How does testing 1 stick a time (if I am not using memtest) help me conclude the RAM is the cause of the error and not the MOBO or Power supply. The only thought I have is if the error DID NOT occur then It's quite possible the RAM stick was the issue but I have gone weeks without a power cycle only to have it Cycle on me 20 times in one day, then a few times the next then none at all for days.

Thanks for your advice and help. It is appreciated

Testing the one stick at a time will conclude that it is or is not the memory. If the issue persists when doing it for both sticks you know it is not the memory. If the issue does not persist with one stick but does with the other, then you know it is the RAM.
