I have recently bought a game called Ark: Survival Evolved. When I play, it runs at 3,000,000 k in the task manager. This maxes my memory out but I don't understand why. I have GB of RAM and that takes up GB. I close all other unimportant tasks. The only other task with somewhat of a large amount of memory usage is Team-speak but that is 30,000 k. I would like to know what hardware it could be so i can upgrade it.

PC Specs:
CPU: Geforce GTX 550 Ti
GPU: AMD FX(tm)- 8150 Eight-Core Processor
Memory Corsair Vengeance 4GBx2 DDR3 1600
HDD: 1TB Hitachi 3.5" SATA 7200 RPM

Solution
Considering you have Windows 7 or 8 installed, with a few softwares, it shouldn't get over 2GB. Add Ark, you should have 3 GB of RAM left.
Normally, you can run the game with different memory usage (the game should propose it on opening).
Otherwise, if you do lack memory space, consider adding more memory. You have to make sure about the maximum amount of memory supported by your system. Although I would recommend you to change the memory usage of that game if you don't have any problem with other games.
