Hey guys, i need some help. recently I got a new FX-8350 cpu and installed it on my m5a97 mobo (old version rev 1.0) which is 3 years old and i have corsair H80 cooler (non i version which is also 3 years old). my motherboard has 4+1 phase power as far as i know.

my core temp on max load at stock speed reaches 43 degrees on core and 60 degrees on the socket. my ambient temp is high approx 30 degrees. and when i overclock to some thing like 4.3 GHz the core temp reaches 55 degree but the socket temp sky rockets to 75 degrees
socket temps are like 20 degrees higher then core temp which is insane.i touched my VRM heat sink with my finger and it was crazy hot i almost burned my finger.

so now the question is is the heat from my VRM heat sink causing high socket temps ??? my cpu is quite stable it docent crashes but the heat output is very high.

And upgrading to some think like m5a99fx or gigabyte 990fxa ud3 motherboard would help in reducing the heat output ud3 has a 8+2 phase power and m5a99 has 6+2 phase
and one more thing is the cooler h80 (non i) out of water after running for 3 years i dint not over volt my CPU the stock voltage is 1.365

Mate please edit your post and put the format into something easier to understand, I'm English born and bred and really struggled to actually take in that information.

Stop overclocking and install the stock air cooler and check if the problem persists. I had a faulty H80 cooler last year and it caused this exact problem. This is where I would start.
