I've been having this problem for a few months now, and every now and then a game will start restarting my computer. I've browsed a bunch of threads over this problem many times and now I want to confirm if it's my power supply. I've already re-seated my memory, heatsink, and cpu. I've also cleaned the insides with compressed air and re-plugged plugs. I'm starting to suspect that the issue lies in my power supply and Event Viewer hasn't consistently reported the same issue before restart, so I haven't gotten much info from that. I'll attach links to pictures of HWiNFO64 scans from my computer below and some specs, of course with the power supply name too. Please help and if it does seem to be my PSU than recommendations would be helpful.

What's the big difference between both of these? I noticed one of them says ECO mode on it

It's the ECO Control Fan system that has zero fan noise during low to medium power draw level.

They both have ECO mode and sell for exactly the same price on EVGA's web site:
http://www.evga.com/Products/ProductList.aspx?type=10&family=Power+Supplies&chipset=550+Watts

The G2 model is newer and has a 7 year warranty.

The GS has a 5 year warranty.

And if the PSU turns out to not be the issue then what could I narrow it down to?

Just for clarity, because I feel like I didn't explain it as clear as I could, over time more games began to restart my computer if this clearer info helps. Also, the intensity of the graphics don't seem to relate to my restarts (I think so) because a game like Left 4 Dead 2 will restart, but a game of Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army or Dark Souls won't restart. As of recent, I can no longer play Fallout New Vegas but I can play it longer without restarts as opposed to playing Fallout 3. I'm not saying your statement is wrong, just providing a little more info.

Would these be good options for gaming as well?
