Min. GTX card for 3D movie playback on 1080p HTPC

Just wondering what the min GTX card would be best for a 3D capable HTPC at 1080p? Am I correct that the i7 intel graphics can handle 3D with out a ded. graphic card??

If your using a Newer Intel Chip the Integrated is capable of 1080P 3D playback, and GPU above a 430GT will do it as well. You do not need a 970 GTX "$300+ for Video playback" that is just a stupid investment if your not gaming.

Thanks. Yes, 970 is overkill I agree. I didn't look any further when I saw the amazon id at the end of the link. Thanks for the suggestions.
