Hi, I've got a friend that's got an old MOBO, that needs a bios update. It's a P35 PLATINUM, and we have the BIOS update program and file from here
We created an MS-DOS boot USB drive, started it up, ran the .exe, and a whole bunch of commands came up, but nothing that looked like it would actually update the bios.
Now, why the bios needs the update, is he is unable to run any OS's on the board without it.
The documentation on the site is nonexistent, and the documentation in the manual and what came with the bios file is different than what is actually happening.
We're both at a loss here as of what to do, and I'm hoping some of you geniuses had to deal with this 8 years ago when it was relevant, lol.
