The EVGA supernova and SeaSonic 750 watt cost 200$, holy molly. :pt1cable:
do you recommend something cheaper?

This is a 650w and its $4 dollars more than the 550w.
It is a very good quality PSU tier 1( http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html )

For your build, I would recommend a 650W or above PSU. Although with a 550W, I don't think you'll run into a considerable roadblock. Take a look at Corsair's TX650. It's around a 100$.

It costs 210 $ here. Damn it. I am stuck, one way or the other, i gotta buy a new PSU before purchasing a new GPU

It would be nice to know which type, there are more Antec 550watt psu's,but that normally should do fine.I would try that.

Thought about the gtx 960? It's performance is as good (some games) or narrow to the r9 280X and it uses alot less power making the choice to use your current psu even easier.

Have not thought about that really! Ill check both Gtx 960 and 970 to see which is better.
