Hi everyone,
My problem is that I've just recently bought a new case for my computer; the corsair 100R, which has two front USB3 ports, but my motherboard doesn't have the connection for it :(
It's a gigabyte GA-P55a-UD3 LGA 1156, which supports USB3 but just for one usb3 header.
So I've been looking on the internet for a motherboard with the same chipset and support for the 2 usb3 front ports, but I can't seem to find one.
I was wondering if there was a way for me not to have to change motherboard chipset so that I don't have to buy a new CPU with it.

Thanks

I just looked at the manual and there is no USB3 internal header whatsoever, both USB3 ports are on the back IO panel.

If that's accurate, just buy a USB3 daughter card man, it's the easiest way. No need to have a heart transplant when all you need is a band-aid.
In the case, there should be one front panel USB3.0 cable for both ports. USB ports have the port multiplier function.

EDIT:
Most people get a cable that will plug into the rear USB3.0 port and enter back inside the case through a water cooler hole but looking at your case, there is no such hole.

Oh yeah ahah, I've just understood by looking at the motherboard manual, I thought that F_USB3 was a USB 3.0 header, but is actually just another USB 2.
Sorry I'm still a little bit new in this world, always been watching videos but never built a computer by myself.
And I didn't thought of the USB3 card, but that's whatI'll do !

Thanks everyone
